The Promise PDC20376 PCI SATA II RAID controller plus PATA controller is a data storage device that allows you to connect multiple storage drives to your computer. This controller is designed to support both SATA II drives and PATA drives, thus offering greater flexibility in the type of drives you can use. The PCI SATA II RAID controller supports RAID technology, which allows you to connect multiple storage drives together to increase the speed of data reading and writing or to create a backup copy of your data. This can be particularly useful if you are working with large amounts of data or if you need a reliable backup system for your important data. The Promise PDC20376 PATA controller, on the other hand, is designed to support PATA drives, which are an older type of storage drive. Even though these drives are not as fast as SATA drives, they can still be useful if you need an additional storage drive or if you have old PATA drives that you want to continue using. Together, these two controllers offer a versatile and reliable data storage solution that can support a wide range of storage drives.
Connections: 1x S-ATA external, 2x S-ATA internal, 1x IDE internal.
