Web hosting is the infrastructure that puts your sites, stores and applications online — from static pages to PHP, Classic ASP or ASP.NET stacks, APIs and backend services. With DEV74 you do not pick a shelf plan: we shape capacity, security and continuity around your use case, from shared Linux or Windows hosting to VPS, dedicated servers, S3-compatible object storage and AI environments (inference, GPU, integration with on-premise or dedicated-cloud models). The solution families below are building blocks we combine for each customer.

Hosting types we can design for you

Linux web hosting

Linux servers with MySQL/MariaDB and PHP — ideal for CMS, e-commerce and open-source apps.

Windows web hosting

Windows with SQL Server, Access and Classic ASP / ASP.NET support.

Dedicated web hosting (VPS)

Virtual machine with dedicated resources, Linux or Windows, for higher performance than shared hosting and demanding workloads.

Web hosting on dedicated server

Bare-metal or dedicated hardware for heavy loads, strict isolation and enterprise or AI projects that need full control over resources.

SSE-C encryption (AES-256)

Data protected in transit and at rest following cloud best practices.

Versioning and WORM

Multiple versions and Write Once Read Many policies for audit and ransomware resilience.

ACLs and user profiles

Fine-grained access for teams, apps and partners.

Good to know

Mailbox quota

Service storage can be split between the website and mailboxes: e.g. with 400 GB total you might assign 40 GB to ten mailboxes, each with its own limit.

Backup and security

Daily backups with configurable retention (often up to five days on-node) plus optional backup tiers or replication to object storage.

What is an email alias

A receiving address that forwards to the real mailbox — useful to hide the primary address and organize roles (info@, sales@).

What is a subdomain

An extension of the main domain (e.g. ftp.example.com) for staging, APIs or separate services under the same brand.
